Quality & Standards

Quality you can audit

Quality in translation isn't a claim — it's a process. Here's ours, and the international standards it's built against.

Standards we build against

Standard What it covers What it means for you
ISO 9001:2015 Quality management system Our organization follows quality-management practices aligned with ISO 9001.
ISO 17100:2015 Translation services Every translation project follows a documented process — qualified translator, qualified reviewer, defined competencies, and traceable records.
ISO 18587:2017 Post-editing of machine translation When we use MT, the post-editing workflow is aligned with the international standard for AI-plus-human translation.
ISO 27001:2022 Information security management Your files, data, and terminology are handled following information-security practices aligned with ISO 27001 — this describes our practices, not a held certificate.

We align our processes with these international standards. Unless stated otherwise, this reflects our working practices and does not assert that we hold a third-party audited certification.

Our Process

The Wearabize quality workflow

1. Project intake

Scope, audience, register, deadline, and reference material are captured upfront.

2. Linguist matching

A native speaker and subject expert with a proven track record in your sector is assigned.

3. Translation in a CAT environment

TM, termbase, and brand guidelines are enforced from the first segment.

4. Two-tier review

A second qualified linguist reviews the full output — with bilingual review against the source where required.

5. Automated QA

Consistency, numbers, tags, terminology, and formatting are checked automatically.

6. Senior sign-off

For high-stakes content — legal, financial, board-level — a senior reviewer signs off before delivery.

7. Delivery & feedback loop

Your edits feed back into the TM and termbase, making every next project better.

Our revision commitment

If human-translated or human-reviewed work doesn't meet the agreed brief, we revise it until you're satisfied — at no extra cost, for as many rounds as it takes. In practice this is rare, because our two-tier review catches issues before delivery.

This commitment covers our human translation and review services, including the Reviewed tier of our online tool. It does not apply to unreviewed automated output.
